The J-Tones are based in London and Glasgow and quartet members are drawn from the UK's top music colleges, where they specialised in classical singing. The group bring their distinct, well-blended sound to a wide variety of repertoire covering many styles including pop, rock, classical, musical theatre and spirituals as well as traditional barbershop.
Prominent recent engagements have included live broadcasts on Colin Murray's TalkSport Radio Show and the Christian O' Connell Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio where The J-Tones were a hit with their listeners.
The J-Tones have performed at a variety of notable locations across the country including The Dorchester in Mayfair, Mansion House, Fortnum & Mason, Borough Market, Glasgow City Chambers, Ayr Racecourse and ‘Proud Camden’. They have performed for many Livery Companies of the City of London and have also sung for the Constable of the Tower of London for the Haig Housing Trust's 'Coming Home' campaign, a charity helping severely wounded veterans. Other notable performances have included a television pilot for the comedian and presenter Jon Richardson as well as performing at Manchester's Etihad Stadium where the group promoted Gillette's ‘Movember’ Campaign.
